Pastor, Reverend Dr. Lloyd D. Martin was born in Huntington, West Virginia to the parents of John and Gladys Martin. Dr. Martin graduated from South High School in 1975 (Columbus, Ohio). Dr. Martin has been married to Patricia A. Martin for thirty-seven years. He is the proud father of five children and has been blessed with twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Rev. Dr. Martin earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio; He continued his education earning both a master’s degree in Educational Administration and a Doctoral Degree in Educational Policy and Leadership from the University of Dayton. He later received a Doctorate in Theology from the Jacksonville Baptist Theological Seminary (Jacksonville, Florida).

Dr. Martin has been a High School Teacher, Middle School Teacher, Middle School Principal, Assistant Superintendent, and School District Superintendent. During his career he has been blessed to have led urban school reform with an exceptional record of success. He retired from serving in public education in 2012 and since that time he has been dedicated to full time ministry and service to God.

Presently, Dr. Martin is the Pastor, Teacher and Servant of Anointed Word Bible Church (Dayton, Ohio); He is committed to God and his people. Therefore, his desire is to open the doors of Anointed Word Bible Church for those people who are wanting deliverance from their sins and to help all who come seeking to build a relationship with a Good, Gracious, and Merciful God.
